The YMCA in Pelham, AL seeks a part-time Childwatch Attendant to supervise and engage children in a safe, welcoming space during Monday-Thursday afternoons and Saturday morning shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in a safe, caring, and welcoming environment.
• Lead games, activities, crafts, and age-appropriate experiences.
• Ensure safety and well-being of every child through active supervision.
• Assist with diaper changes, toileting, and infant feedings as needed.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe Childwatch/YKIDS area.
• Follow YMCA policies, childcare standards, and abuse risk management procedures.
• Attend required trainings and staff meetings.
