Role & Schedule Details
- Coaching children ages 12 months to 11 years old.
- Teach the KidStrong curriculum as designed by the HQ programming team.
- Maintain class start/end times and curriculum pacing.
- Provide parent communication regarding the curriculum.
- Classes typically occur weekdays 9 am – 11 am and evenings until 7 pm; weekends from 8 am to noon.
- Flexible schedule available; private coaching hours offer additional income.
- Prior professional experience in pediatric OT/PT is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Lead class sizes of 6 to 15 children.
- Greet students and parents at the start of each class.
- Maintain a dynamic, fun, and professional environment.
- Demonstrate and manage various exercises.
- Ensure the facility’s cleanliness and safety.
- Record class data using the KS Coach’s App.
- Communicate with staff via Slack.
- Complete required training through FranConnect.
- Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 25 lb.
- Assist parents of younger children (≤3 years).
- Attend monthly staff and program meetings.
- Participate in special classes held during school breaks.
- Achieve certification from the HQ Training and Certification team.
Qualifications
- Passion for working with children.
- Prior experience coaching similar age groups (preferred).
- Experience speaking with parents about the curriculum.
- Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics.
- CPR certification.
- Positive, motivating communication skills.
- Self‑starter and proactive.
Compensation: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour.
