Job summary

KidStrong in Mount Pleasant, SC is seeking a Coach with an athletic or coaching background to work with children aged 15 months through 11 years. You will implement the evolving monthly curriculum, engage with parents about the why behind the KidStrong approach, and help kids develop brain, physical, and character skills.

Classes run weekdays 9am–11am and evenings until 7pm, with weekend sessions starting at 8am.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children is essential.
• Prior experience coaching KidStrong-age children preferred.
• Ability to educate and engage parents on curriculum.
• Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics.
• Positive, motivating interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coach children aged 15 months to 11 years within evolving monthly curriculum.
• Explain the KidStrong rationale to parents/guardians.
• Lead classes on brain, physical, and character development.
• Maintain a flexible schedule with weekday and weekend slots.

Job Summary

• We are looking for a coach with an athletic or coaching background who ideally has experience coaching children ages 15 months – 11 years old.
• A KidStrong Coach would focus on coaching children on brain, physical and character development that stems from evolving monthly curriculum.
• The ideal candidate must also be comfortable speaking to parents/guardians regarding the “why” behind KidStrong curriculum.
• Our classes run weekdays 9am–11am and evenings until 7pm.
• Weekends we start at 8am and run through lunchtime.
• Opportunity for a flexible work schedule depending on studio needs.
• Additional opportunity to increase scheduled hours through camps, etc.
• Prior experience as a pediatric OT/PT is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children is non‑negotiable.
• Prior experience coaching students within the appropriate KidStrong age is preferred.
• Prior experience speaking to and educating parents on KidStrong curriculum.
• Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics.
• Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills.
• Self‑starter who just gets a job done.

• CPR certified.

Compensation

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour.
