Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking dedicated Support Workers to care for a 17-year-old client in her family home and community surroundings. You’ll work 1:1 with the client, driving to and from activities, and receive full specialist training from the supportive clinical team.

Shifts are Fridays 8am-6pm and Saturdays 8am-4pm, with occasional Wednesday/Thursday coverage. A flexible zero-hours contract is offered, with ongoing hours and a stable client roster.

Qualifications

• Must be a driver with own car.
• Supporting a 17-year-old client with complex health needs in home and community.
• Fridays 8am-6pm, Saturdays 8am-4pm; occasional Wed/Thu shifts may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 care at the client’s home and in the community.
• Assist with daily activities and health needs under the guidance of the Care Manager.

We’re looking to recruit a brand-new team of Support Workers to care for our brand new young client in Llanrug.Our client is a 17 year old teenage girl who lives at home with her family. She has complex health needs including wheelchair user, non-verbal, PEG fed and epilepsy. You will be supporting her on a 1:1 basis. We will provide full specialist training.Due to the rural location of the client’s home, you will need to be a driver with a car.Shifts available:Fridays (8am-6pm) and Saturdays (8am-4pm)Plus occassional cover for Wednesday and Thursday shifts when other support worker is offPackage is likely to increase so more hours likely to be available!In this role, you’ll support one individual with complex needs as part of a consistent care team, with regular weekly shifts and rotas planned in advance.
