Soccer Shots is seeking a Weekend Coach for the greater Austin area. This part-time role involves leading introductory youth soccer sessions at parks, preschools, and schools, with weekend shifts typically 8:30–11:30 a.m. Training is provided, with pay during training at $15/hour.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Reliable transportation and a valid Driver’s License.
FBI Criminal Background Check.
Fully authorized to work in the US without restriction.
Currently live in the greater Austin metropolitan area.
CPR & First Aid certification required or obtainable.
Coaching or childhood education experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and coach weekly sessions at parks, preschools, daycares, and schools.
Work weekend shifts on Saturdays and Sundays (8:30–11:30 a.m.).
Commit to an entire season schedule (8–10 weeks).
Maintain a safe, fun, and supportive coaching environment.
Collaborate with team and communicate effectively with families.

POSITION DETAILS

Soccer Shots offers noncompetitive, introductory soccer classes (“sessions”) on a weekly basis at parks, preschools, daycares, indoor facilities, and elementary schools around the greater Austin area. Schedules are created seasonally (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter) and determined based on one’s availability and location. Coaches must be able to commit to an entire season schedule (8-10 weeks)

HOURS

Weekend shifts generally run from from 8:30-11:30 a.m on Saturday and Sunday. Session times may vary depending on enrollment. Additional shifts available throughout the week if requested.
