Job summary

Soccer Shots Austin offers noncompetitive, introductory weekly soccer sessions at parks, preschools, daycares, and schools around the greater Austin area. Coaches lead groups of up to 12 children, with season-based schedules (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter) and 8–10 week commitments.

Training is provided, and locations include multiple Austin-area communities. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, patient, punctual, and collaborative, with a love for soccer and working with children.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation and a valid Driver’s License.
• Pass FBI Criminal Background Check.
• Fully authorized to work in the US without restriction.
• Currently live in the greater Austin metropolitan area.
• Currently certified or able to become CPR & First Aid certified.
• Coaching or childhood education experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly, noncompetitive soccer sessions for children up to 12 years old.
• Commit to an entire season schedule (8–10 weeks) and specific weekend shifts.
• Create a fun, safe, and engaging environment that aligns with Soccer Shots’ core values.

POSITION DETAILS

Soccer Shots offers noncompetitive, introductory soccer classes (“sessions”) on a weekly basis at parks, preschools, daycares, indoor facilities, and elementary schools around the greater Austin area. Schedules are created seasonally (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter) and determined based on one’s availability and location. Coaches must be able to commit to an entire season schedule (8-10 weeks)

HOURS:

Weekend shifts generally run from from 8:30-11:30 a.m on Saturday and Sunday. Session times may vary depending on enrollment. Additional shifts available throughout the week if requested.
