Damar Services, Inc. in Indianapolis is seeking a Direct Support Technician to assist clients with daily living, supervision, crisis management, and skill development in residential settings. Shifts include day, evening, and weekend options.

Requirements include being 21+, a high school diploma or GED, a valid Indiana driver’s license, and passing a background screen, drug test, and physical. Damar offers extensive training and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 to work in our Children's Residential program; other Direct Support Professional roles available for ages 18-21.
• Valid Indiana driver's license and driving record that meets insurance carrier requirements
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
• Background screening must be favorable
• Be clear of felony convictions or disqualifying criminal convictions, per policy.
• Successful completion of pre-employment screening per company requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with supervision and care, crisis management, and promoting appropriate social behaviors.
• Support clients in achieving their maximum potential and daily living skills.
• Complete required documentation daily in a professional manner.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment and supervise recreational activities.
• Contribute to behavior management plans and crisis response as needed.
