Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program.
• Acceptance into pharmacy school.
• High school diploma or equivalent and one year of pharmacy or health care related experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow workflow procedures including prescription processing, medication preparation and distribution to patient.
• Restock cabinets and workstations as needed.
• Handle medications in accordance with regulatory and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with pharmacy team, insurance companies and customers to resolve issues and ensure timely resolutions.
• Assist with training of new employees and students in job-specific functions.
