Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Birmingham, AL seeks a Phone Triage Staff for the Children’s Mobile Crisis Response Team. You will be the first contact, providing information, gathering data, and triaging cases for MCT staff.

The role requires a 4-year degree in a human services field, crisis intervention knowledge, and the ability to work 12-hour rotating day or night shifts, including holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling or related field required.
• Crisis intervention experience with children/adolescents preferred.
• Must be able to work 12-hour rotating day/night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Answer and triage calls for the Children’s Mobile Crisis Response Team.
• Gather information to determine service eligibility.
• Complete MCT screening form and notify assigned staff.
• Maintain staff calendar for assignments and duties.
• Collaborate with Jefferson County DHR on screening info.
• Enter initial data into the EMR system after calls.
• Coordinate with MCT staff, coordinator, teams and care coord.
• Support MCT daily duties and data collection.
• Follow up with families during shifts as needed.
• Flexible to serve as a team member when required.
