Job summary

Hillside Fellowship is seeking a Hillside Kids Team Lead to guide the day-to-day ministry for Hillside Kids, implementing the Family Ministries strategy while developing staff, strengthening systems, and ensuring safe, engaging environments for children and families.

The role partners with the Director of Family Ministries to lead weekend services, midweek programs, and special events, building scalable, healthy ministry growth with a servant-hearted leadership approach.

Qualifications

Demonstrates a maturing relationship with Jesus Christ and embodies Hillside Fellowship values.
Must be a member of Hillside Fellowship or willing to pursue membership within six months of hire.
Demonstrates a passion for helping children and families grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Approaches leadership with humility, wisdom, integrity, and a servant-hearted mindset.
Models healthy spiritual, emotional, and relational rhythms.

Responsibilities

Lead Hillside Kids vision, priorities, and strategic direction.
Oversee day-to-day Hillside Kids ministry initiatives with consistency and excellence.
Develop leaders, staff, and volunteers to sustain growth.
Ensure safe, engaging, and Christ-centered environments for children and families.
Oversee weekend services, midweek programs, and special events to maintain quality.
Collaborate with Worship, Communications, Hospitality, Facilities and other teams to align with church-wide initiatives.
