Job summary

Mercy Hill Church is seeking an Associate Director for Mercy Hill Kids to oversee campus programming, invest in leaders, and coordinate family engagement. The role emphasizes developing and supporting Kids Team volunteers, coordinating campus events, and ensuring gospel-centered programming.

The Associate Director will supervise weekly activities, assist in onboarding, and collaborate with the Kids Director on central initiatives and events, including Weekender and service planning.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing volunteers in a kids ministry context.
• Ability to recruit, train and shepherd teams at a campus level.
• Strong communication and relational skills with families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Mercy Hill Kids programming at campus level to equip parents and develop leaders.
• Lead and invest in campus Kids Team, including recruiting and organizing volunteers.
• Oversee onboarding and recommitment processes for new volunteers during Weekender sessions.
• Ensure week-to-week gospel engagement through weekend services and Kids activities.
• Assist Kids Director with central Kids initiatives and events (Kids Week, Fall Launch).
• Oversee baptisms counseling, family engagement, and data tracking for first-time guests.
