South Main Baptist Church in Pasadena, Texas seeks a full-time Children’s Minister to lead and strengthen ministry to elementary-age children and their families. You will be the primary teacher and communicator for children, plan weekly classes and gatherings, and maintain safe, welcoming environments.

Ideal candidates are devoted followers of Christ with spiritual maturity and integrity, who partner with parents as primary disciple-makers and build strong volunteer teams to support a vibrant

Qualifications

• Devoted follower of Christ with spiritual maturity, humility and integrity.
• Organizational dependability and reliable communication with children and adults.
• Strong volunteer development skills and hospitality in demeanor.
• Experience coordinating children's ministry or family discipleship is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Recruit, train, and care for adult volunteers.
• Select and implement age-appropriate curriculum for children.
• Partner with parents to support at-home discipleship.
• Plan events like VBS, Parents Night Out, and seasonal gatherings.
• Welcome and follow up with new families; build welcoming environments.
• Collaborate with Family Discipleship Coordinator, Youth Minister, and church staff.
