Job summary

Ketchikan Indian Community (KIC) is seeking a Program Manager to lead the Children’s Mental Health Program in Ketchikan, AK. The role focuses on development, supervision, regulatory compliance, and ensuring trauma-informed, family-centered services for children, youth, and families.

The manager will guide clinical and operational excellence, collaborating with schools, healthcare providers, tribal organizations, child welfare, and other partners to improve client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, health administration, psychology, or related field.
• At least 5 years' experience in a behavioral health clinic setting with progressive leadership and supervision responsibilities.
• Ability to achieve state licensure or professional certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day oversight of children’s behavioral health programs and services.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, Medicaid, grant, and accreditation standards including CARF.
• Develop, implement, and monitor program policies, procedures, workflows, and service delivery models.
• Monitor budgeting, staffing, reporting, and service outcomes.
• Supervise clinical and support staff within the children’s mental health program.
• Coordinate care among providers, schools, families, and community agencies.
