Qualifications

• Associate or Diploma in Science of Nursing.
• Licensed in the State of Alaska as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform various nursing care procedures for patients of all ages.
• Develop a plan of care from assessment data with the primary care provider.
• Perform routine treatments such as inhalation therapy, catheterization, dressing changes, venipuncture, IV therapy, and CLIA waived POC testing.
• Use problem-solving and critical thinking to address patient needs promptly.
• Document observations, nursing interventions, and patient education; coordinate with other disciplines.
