Job summary

Children's Wisconsin in Milwaukee is seeking a Children's Ambassador to greet and assist families visiting the facility. Your presence ensures a positive and comforting first impression.* **Guide with care:** Badge and screen guests according to visitation guidelines, then help them navigate the facility with confidence.* **Support families:** Determine destinations and transportation needs, offering assistance every step of the way.* **Transport patients safely:** Provide internal patient transport that is both secure and engaging.* **Keep us moving:** Stock and move wheelchairs, strollers, and carts to ensure accessibility across the facility.** What We’re Looking For*** High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.* At least one year of customer service experience, including conflict management.* Understanding of developmental needs across all age groups—from neonatal to adult.* Strong communication, interpersonal, and prioritization skills.* Confidence and composure in stressful situations, with the ability to diffuse negativity.* Critical thinking skills to make independent decisions in a fast-paced environment.* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.* Bilingual abilities preferred.* CPR certification (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers) required within 90 days of hire.** Scheduling Requirements*** **On-call shift:** Required approximately once every two weeks.
