La Petite Academy in Springfield, VA is hiring a Team Lead to guide classroom instruction, manage daily activities, and implement curriculum that supports children's growth.

You'll communicate with families, mentor new staff, and step in for director duties as needed, while ensuring licensing guidelines and company standards are followed. This is a day-time, on-site role focused on creating a joyful, educational environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsabilités

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care; lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Communicate and build relationships with families to promote achievement for the child and center success.
• Mentor and assist with the training and mentoring of new hires and fellow Teachers.
• Take on the duties of Director or Assistant Director in his/her absence, including opening and closing the center.
• Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.
