Job summary

The role emphasizes leadership, mentoring new hires, and potential duties as acting Director or Assistant Director, with a focus on following licensing guidelines and company standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA preferred.
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children; lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Communicate with families to support child achievement and center success.
• Mentor new hires and fellow teachers; support training and learning activities.
• Step in as Director or Assistant Director in absence; open and close the school.
