Job summary

Learning Care Group in Florida is looking for a passionate Team Lead to promote the growth and development of children in a nurturing environment. The candidate will lead classroom activities, communicate with families, mentor staff, and ensure adherence to licensing guidelines. Applicants must have experience in a licensed childcare facility and preferably college credits in Early Childhood Education. The role offers flexible schedules with no nights or weekends, making it ideal for caregivers.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading a classroom and implementing lesson plans.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to meet state and accreditation requirements for education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children.
• Communicate and build relationships with families.
• Mentor and train new hires and fellow teachers.
• Manage classroom and lead when Director or Assistant Director is absent.
• Ensure daily care of every child following licensing guidelines.

Skills

Experience in a licensed childcare facility

Education

College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA
