The YMCA of Greater Erie is seeking a Full-time Site Director - Child Care at our McKean location to lead and oversee high-quality childcare programs, focusing on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.

You will manage daily operations, supervise staff, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, develop budgets, enroll families, and partner with the community to grow programs. This role offers strong benefits and a flexible work schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent.
• 3+ years experience coordinating/supervising childcare programs.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Complete required trainings including CPR, First Aid, AED, Bloodborne Pathogens and Mandated Reporter Training.
• Fulfillment of state hiring standards and YMCA certifications.
• Ability to relate to diverse groups and ensure ADA compliance.

Responsabilités

• Direct day care and school-age programs; ensure quality and expand services.
• Maintain child-to-staff ratios and safety.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff and volunteers.
• Enroll new children; onboarding guardians into the Y program.
• Manage budgets and program fees; support healthy eating initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, grants, and licensing.
• Maintain facilities and build relationships with licensing agencies.
