Job summary

Consumer Direct Care Network in Menomonie is seeking a Part-Time Childcare Respite Provider to support an active child at home and in the local community. You will engage in sports and physical activities, help with daily routines, and ensure safety and engagement during afternoon hours.

Ideal candidates are energetic, reliable, and able to build positive relationships. Applicants pursuing education in related fields are welcome, and a dependable vehicle with driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Energetic, active and enthusiastic about working with children.
• Background in education, child development, social work or related fields encouraged.
• Able to pass caregiver and criminal background checks.

Responsibilities

• Helping the child stay on task while getting ready for school/daycare.
• Providing reminders for dressing, brushing teeth, and gathering belongings.
• Assisting with getting to the school bus or providing occasional transportation when needed.
• Helping the child transition home from school/daycare.
• Preparing or serving a simple snack or meal.
• Engaging in fun, active play at home or in the local community.
• Assisting with the bedtime routine by providing reminders and encouragement to stay on task.

Now Hiring: Part-Time Childcare Respite Provider

We're looking for an energetic, reliable, and engaging childcare provider to support an active child in the home and local community. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with energetic children. The child loves sports and physical activities, and the ideal provider will be excited to actively participate in fun activities with him.

Students or individuals pursuing degrees in education, child development, social work, or related fields are encouraged to apply, though all qualified applicants with a passion for working with children are welcome.

Location:

Menomonie (Family Home or Local Community)

Schedule:

• Thursday Afternoon 4-7:30PM
• Occasional additional on-call opportunities if interested

Compensation:

$14.13/Hr

About the Child

The child is independent with personal care tasks but benefits from gentle reminders and encouragement to stay focused. Activities he likes:

• Hockey
• Basketball
• Physical games (Wrestling/Football)
• Swimming
• Climbing things
