Family Resource Center is seeking a full-time Community Resource Specialist for the Resource & Referral Department in San Joaquin County. The role involves delivering information and materials to childcare providers and coordinating resources and referrals.

Qualifications include an AA degree in child development and at least two years of community work experience; Spanish language skills are a plus. A pre-employment drug test and a valid driver's license are required.

Formación

• AA degree in child development or related field.
• Two years community work experience.
• Spanish language proficiency desired.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test.
• Valid driver's license, automobile, and proof of insurance.

Responsabilidades

• Provide information and services to childcare providers including activity kits, totes, library materials, brochures, and workshop schedules.
• Assess needs of childcare providers and research and present resources.
• Provide screenings and referrals to families in funded programs.
• Engage in outreach to promote services and represent the agency in the community.
• Conduct trainings, workshops, and orientations for the agency and area.
