Job summary

Bay Area Community Resources is seeking a Community Resource & Child Development Specialist to support children and families at the Fairfield First 5 Center. This full-time role involves building trusted relationships through parent education, developmental guidance, and resource navigation for young families. You'll work collaboratively with community agencies to enhance early learning experiences for diverse families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in child development, early childhood education, or social work.
• 3 years of experience working with young children and their families.
• 1 year of experience in early intervention using the Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate parent education and leadership opportunities.
• Conduct ASQ developmental screenings.
• Support families in accessing community resources.
