Job summary

Right At School in Washington state seeks a Program Manager for Auburn or Maple Valley (Tahoma School District). The role leads before/after school programs with a focus on safety, engagement, and education, working hours M-Th and Fri as listed.

Competitive hourly pay ranges from $24–$26 depending on education and experience. Ideal candidates have multi-tasking abilities, strong communication, and experience with children, including special needs.

Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple priorities in school-based programs.
• 12 college credits in 100+ level courses.
• Experience with children and knowledge of special needs.
• Coursework or training in child development or related field.
• Strong oral, written, and visual communication with adults and children.
• Ability to model professional standards with students, parents, staff, and community.
• Familiarity with Google technology or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Joy: model safety and joy standards, maintain site docs and licensing, outline attendance and behavior policies.
• Safety Assurance: report on safety protocols and mitigate risks.
• Effective Communication: engage families, partners, peers, and children; respond to inquiries during program hours.
• Documentation and Compliance: maintain student check-in/out records and attendance procedures.
• Daily Routine: implement daily activities, fitness, and curriculum in a safe, engaging environment.
