Job summary

Right At School is seeking a Program Manager to oversee before/after school programs in local districts. You will manage staff, ensure safety, and coordinate with families while delivering engaging activities for children.

The role requires strong communication, a background in child development, and the ability to balance multiple priorities. Hours include mornings and afternoons, with an hourly pay rate based on education and experience.

Qualifications

• Experience balancing competing priorities while delivering quality service to stakeholders.
• High school diploma or GED or higher is required.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to work early mornings and afternoons.
• Experience with child development topics and related coursework or training.
• Strong written, oral and visual communication with adults and children.
• Ability to model professional standards with students, parents, staff, and community.

Responsibilities

• Drive the program mission by ensuring safety, joy, and staff performance.
• Communicate promptly with families, client partners and the Area Manager.
• Maintain attendance records, safety procedures and site documentation.
• Implement daily activities and curriculum in a safe, engaging environment.
• Support compliance with state requirements and program policies.
