Cornerstone Learning Center - East Memphis is seeking a Lead Teacher to support our Twos. The role runs Monday-Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm with compensation of $15-$16 per hour, depending on education and experience.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and the ability to pass all background checks; childcare experience is a plus. We offer competitive pay, paid trainings, a 401k with match, childcare discounts, and a positive work environment with open communication.

• Lead all aspects of the classroom in line with the center's philosophy and goals.
• Implement activities that promote growth in emotional, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
• Maintain a clean and safe classroom environment.
• Establish professional rapport with families to provide quality care.
• Assist with daily routines and supervise children physically and safely.

Our Hiring Process:

MainJob Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of the classroom in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.
• Implement activitiesthatencourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative,and physical development.
• Take initiative, accept constructive criticism, and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program.
• Createandmaintainan environment that is clean and safe for all children.
• Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family toprovidequality care for the children.
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running,and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
