Job summary

Purcellville Children's Academy is seeking a Cook/Dietary Aide to prepare nutritious, well-balanced meals and maintain a sanitary kitchen in a licensed childcare setting.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a Serve Safe certificate, and the ability to pass background checks. Prior childcare experience is a plus. Shift is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–2:00 PM with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious, well-balanced meals meeting program requirements.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen.
• Manage monthly inventory of non-food items and food supplies.
• Order items within budget; coordinate with Center Director.
• Assist in classrooms by relieving teachers during breaks.
• Maintain physical ability to work around children; lift up to 40 lbs.
