LLE Education Group in Prince William County/Stafford, VA seeks a Cook to prepare nutritious meals for young children within a childcare setting. You will develop weekly menus, manage inventories, and uphold health and safety standards.

Working Monday–Friday with flexible hours, you join a collaborative team that values creativity and growth. Prior childcare or school kitchen experience and food safety certification are preferred.

• Ability to plan and prepare meals for large groups.

Aufgaben

• Develop weekly menus that are nutritious and balanced.
• Keep track of food supplies and place orders as needed, managing kitchen budget effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of food purchases, meal counts, and any dietary restrictions or allergies.
• Prepare and cook meals and snacks according to the planned menu.
• Ensure food is cooked safely and in accordance with sanitation protocols.
• Ensure menus meet dietary requirements.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food, portion control and dietary needs; ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Interact with children in a positive and friendly manner.
