Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies in Wisconsin is hiring a Cook to prepare healthy meals and snacks for children in our centers, following menus created by an in-house nutritionist to fuel learning and growth.

You'll maintain kitchen hygiene, order supplies, and document activities while collaborating with center staff to support enrollment, accreditation, and family engagement. A Food Handler’s License or willingness to obtain is required.

Qualifications

• Love for children and desire to make a difference.
• Understand food safety and proper storage; handle allergies carefully.
• Follow nutritious menus and prepare appropriate portions.
• Basic math skills for measuring servings.
• Ability to use a computer for documentation and orders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen and equipment safely and hygienically.
