Chroma Early Learning Academy seeks an experienced Director to oversee daily center operations, ensuring high-quality early childhood education and regulatory compliance. You’ll lead staff, manage budgets, and partner with leadership to advance the academy's vision.

The role requires a strong background in ECE leadership, effective communication, and a commitment to fostering a nurturing, inclusive learning environment for children and families.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in leadership or management in early childhood education.
• Strong knowledge of ECE practices, child development, and licensing.
• Experience managing budgets, financial planning, and operations.
• Proven ability to lead a diverse team of educators and support staff.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for creating a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
• Ability to partner with staff, families, and community.
• Be able to pass a national criminal background check
• A valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all center operations including staff supervision.
• Ensure highest standards of care and education per licensing and accreditation.
• Manage budgets, resources, and operating costs for financial sustainability.
• Develop and implement policies supporting goals and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise and mentor staff, fostering a positive work culture.
• Establish relationships with parents, staff, and the community.
• Oversee recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new staff.
• Implement and assess educational programs meeting children's developmental needs.
• Coordinate communication among parents, staff, and regulatory bodies.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify growth opportunities.
