Job summary

Killington Pico Ski Resort Partners LLC is seeking a Childcare Caregiver I for our resort childcare center. The role oversees care for children 2 months to 6 years, creating engaging activities while ensuring safety and development for families visiting the mountain.

The center operates 7:45 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. seven days a week in December–March and Monday–Friday April–November. A season pass is provided for employee, dependents, and access to resort privileges and discounts.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 and able to pass a background check.
• Certified in pediatric first aid and in infant and child CPR.
• Experience with children ages 2 months to 6 years.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays during peak resort seasons.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stay active with kids.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, responsive care to children in assigned room or groups.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment.
• Assist with meals, naps, diaper changes, and bathroom breaks.
• Support social-emotional development through positive guidance.
• Document attendance, meals, naps, and other required information.
• Communicate effectively with parents about daily experiences and needs.
• Contribute ideas for program improvement and participate in meetings.

Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available.Job Summary:The Childcare Caregiver I at Killington Resort plays a vital role in providing nurturing, high-quality care for children in our resort childcare center. This position is responsible for the direct care of children ages 2 months to 6 years, creating engaging experiences for both our employee and local families with recurring care needs and guests visiting our mountain resort. The ideal caregiver combines a passion for child development with the ability to create a safe, fun environment that allows parents to enjoy their Killington experience with peace of mind.
