Job summary

Huntey's Clubhouse is seeking an assistant teacher in Michigan to support safe, nurturing early learning experiences after school hours. You will implement the classroom curriculum alongside the Lead Teacher, maintain a positive, inclusive environment, and communicate effectively with families and staff.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid certification, ability to lift 30–40 pounds, and teamwork and reliable work ethic.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must meet all state licensing requirements for assistant teachers.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within a designated timeframe after hire).
• Ability to actively engage with children, including floor activities and light lifting up to 40 pounds.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the classroom curriculum and adapt to each child.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing environment for exploration and learning.
• Support child development through structured activities and positive guidance.
• Collaborate with Lead Teacher to maintain routines and parent communication.
• Monitor and report children's progress and concerns to the Lead Teacher.
• Participate in professional development to improve classroom effectiveness.
• Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a clean, secure environment.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
• Uphold company standards and comply with state licensing requirements.
