Early Learning Company is seeking an Assistant Teacher for the Huntey's Clubhouse and Gro Childcare Academy in Michigan. The role supports classroom curriculum, maintains a safe, nurturing environment, and helps children learn through play and guided activities.

You will work with the Lead Teacher, engage with families, and participate in ongoing professional development. The position offers a steady afternoon schedule (12 PM–6 PM), opportunities for growth, and a supportive, family-oriented

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within designated timeframe.
• Ability to actively engage with children throughout the day.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with families and staff.
• Must meet state licensing requirements for assistant teachers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the classroom curriculum and adapt to meet the unique needs of each child.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing environment for exploration and learning.
• Support children's development through structured activities, play, and positive behavior guidance.
• Collaborate with the Lead Teacher on routines and parent communication.
• Monitor and report children's progress to the Lead Teacher.
