Job summary

Fishers Community Center is seeking a dedicated Childcare Aide to join the onsite team in the Action Zone. You will support safe, joyful spaces where children can learn and grow, following center policies and daily operations to keep care consistent and welcoming.

Minimum qualifications include being at least 16 years old with 1+ year childcare experience, ability to lead activities, and CPR/AED certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days).

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old with 1+ year childcare experience.
• Ability to lead age-appropriate group activities.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications or ability to obtain within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Engage children with safe, age-appropriate activities to create a welcoming environment.
• Supervise children and collaborate with team to encourage safe behavior.
• ID guardians before releasing children and maintain attendance records.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of toys, equipment and space.
• Assist in family events and communicate with guardians about the day.
