Job summary

The CYP Cook position within Navy Region Southwest's Child and Youth Programs is responsible for a range of food preparation and serving tasks at a Development Center, with potential to assist School Age Care operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare meats, poultry, seafood, vegetables, and gravies following recipes.
• Plan and coordinate meal preparation to ensure timely service.
• Maintain kitchen and equipment cleanliness and safety.
• Label, date, and store food per standards.
• Adhere to USDA CACFP guidelines and military policies.
• Assist with food preparation for multiple programs as needed.
