The University of Vermont in Burlington is seeking a Child Welfare Foundations Training Team Lead to provide leadership, supervision and oversight of Training and Coaching Specialists delivering learning opportunities for Vermont’s child welfare and youth justice workforce and their caregivers.

The role focuses on developing, training, evaluating, coaching and consulting on a competency-based curriculum for the VT CWTP.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or closely related field required.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience required.
• Desirable: experience in adult learning curriculum development and training of trainers.
• Desirable: program evaluation experience.
• Experience in child welfare, youth justice, substance abuse, or adoption is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership, supervision and oversight of Training and Coaching Specialists (TCSs) designing and delivering learning opportunities for Vermont’s child welfare and youth justice workforce, caregivers, and allied community partners.
• Develop, train, evaluate, coach and consult on a competency-based curriculum for the VT Child Welfare Partnership (VT CWTP).
• Collaborate with VT DCF Family Services Division and UVM Social Work to implement training initiatives.
