Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited school of social work and two years of social work or counseling experience; or a bachelor’s degree and three years; or a master’s in counseling and three years; or a 4-year human services degree with four years of related experience; or equivalent.
• Experience supervising social workers and conducting program planning and budgeting.
• Demonstrated ability to train staff and ensure ethical and compliant service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead a staff of social workers delivering child protective services in accordance with laws and policies.
• Assign cases, coordinate workflow, supervise through reviews, consultations and direction.
• Provide input on administrative, personnel, and budget issues; ensure timely case decisions.
• Train staff, set performance standards, monitor outcomes and maintain real-time documentation.
• Conduct staff meetings with coordination across units and partners; supervise discipline and hires.
• Ensure attendance, punctuality, and availability to maintain critical communications.
