Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work from an accredited school.
• Bachelor's degree in social work from an accredited school and completion of the Child Welfare Collaborative.
• Bachelor's degree in social work from an accredited school and one year related experience; Master's in counseling with one year social work experience.
• Directly related experience is defined as human services experience in case management, assessment and referral, supportive counseling, intervention, psycho-social therapy and treatment planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide protective, investigative, counseling and case management services for at-risk children.
• Investigate and document alleged abuse or neglect and provide court testimony as needed.
• Maintain caseloads and prepare mandated reports and documentation.
• Respond to crisis situations promptly and coordinate with foster care or relative placements.
• Perform in-home services and coordinate referrals for treatment and preventive services.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state guidelines and timelines.
