Job summary

Adult & Child Health is seeking a Child Welfare Specialist to support youth and families toward permanency, stability, and safety. The role involves direct clinical treatment, case management, and collaboration with schools, providers, and foster families.

You will participate in crisis planning, documentation, and supervision, ensuring timely notes and compliance with agency standards. A bachelor’s degree in related fields and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or related Health and Human Services field.
• Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect and fingerprint check.
• All training requirements including Relias at the beginning of employment and annually thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical treatment to youth and families.
• Case management, home based casework, family preservation, visit supervision, crisis and safety planning, discharge planning.
• Attend IEP meetings and obtain educational documentation.
• Maintain documentation and communications with team leaders and referral sources.
