Child Welfare Case Managers are responsible for participating in staff development opportunities and maintaining child welfare certification through ongoing training. They work cooperatively with our team of case managers and maintain relationships with supervisory staff, community resource providers with children and families, including awareness of and attention to achievement of permanency, satisfaction with services, and overall safety of children. They also complete case notes, prepare for and attend court activities, develop and complete judicial reviews, assessments, make referrals, arrange placements, conduct home studies and facilitate family contacts.
Education, experience and Skills
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work or other related human service field and one year of relevant social services experience working with children and families.
