State of Tennessee seeks a senior DCS supervisor to lead case management teams, ensuring safety and permanency for children in state custody or at risk. The role requires guiding staff, coordinating resources, and maintaining compliance with policies and state and federal laws.

The incumbent will oversee multiple teams, participate in multidisciplinary planning, and drive performance improvements across the Cumberland County office, with a focus on effective child welfare services delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and five years of full-time professional work in social, psychological, or correctional counseling or case management; or related fields.
• Three years of required experience must be in child welfare services or an affiliated agency, with at least one year in supervisory work.
• Graduate education may substitute for part of the experience on a month-for-month basis, up to two years.

Responsabilités

• Oversees teams and sets goals and development plans for subordinates, ensuring case files and records comply with laws.
• Manages intake prioritization for suspected child abuse/neglect and guides decision-making with CM4s.
• Assesses safety, permanency, and outcomes, and assigns cases using TFACTS; tracks welfare outcomes.
