Monarch Recreation Center is seeking a Child Watch Lead to supervise shift teams, ensuring a safe, engaging environment for children and delivering high-quality customer service to parents. The role directs daily operations, manages sign-in/out, and maintains staff-to-child ratios.
CPR/First Aid training is required within 6 months, and a High School Diploma or equivalent is required. The position offers an evening/weekend schedule and opportunities for coaching and staff development.
The Child Watch Lead provides shift-level supervision, guidance, and operational support to Child Watch Team Members at the Monarch Recreation Center. The position ensures a safe, attentive, and engaging environment for children while supporting consistent daily operations and high-quality customer service for parents and guardians. The Lead serves as the primary shift point-of-contact, assists with child and parent concerns, and ensures compliance with established safety procedures and Child Watch policies.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience working with or supervising children.
Babysitting Basics, CPR, AED, and First Aid required within 6 months of hire.
Experience in childcare, recreation, or a similar setting. Previous lead or shift supervisor experience. Advanced Childcare Certification.
