Pflugerville's Monarch Recreation Center is seeking a Child Watch Team Member to provide safe, engaging care for children from 3 months to 9 years while guardians use the center. You will supervise play, maintain a clean environment, and deliver friendly customer service.
You will ensure sign-in/out procedures, verify guardianship, follow safety protocols, and be available to address issues using City apps. Must be 16+ and committed to completing CPR/First Aid within 6 months.
The Child Watch Team Member provides safe, attentive, and engaging care for children aged 3 months to 9 years while their guardians use the Monarch Recreation Center. The role supports daily operations of the Child Watch area, supervises play, maintains a clean environment, and delivers excellent customer service.
Must be at least 16 years of age and currently enrolled in high school or have completed high school/GED.
Prior experience in childcare preferred but not required.
Adult and Child CPR, and Standard First Aid certification required within 6 months of hire. Babysitting Basics Certification will be included in on-the-job training.
Two (2) years of babysitting, child watch, or working with children.
