The Child Watch Lead provides shift-level supervision, guidance, and operational support to Child Watch Team Members at the Monarch Recreation Center. The position ensures a safe, attentive, and engaging environment for children while supporting consistent daily operations and high-quality customer service for parents and guardians. The Lead serves as the primary shift point-of-contact, assists with child and parent concerns, and ensures compliance with established safety procedures and Child Watch policies.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience working with or supervising children.
Babysitting Basics, CPR, AED, and First Aid required within 6 months of hire.
Experience in childcare, recreation, or a similar setting. Previous lead or shift supervisor experience. Advanced Childcare Certification.
Unless otherwise stated, applicants are permitted to substitute two years of related full-time experience for one year of higher education or one year of related higher education for two years of experience in order to meet the minimum requirements of the job. One year of full-time experience is defined as 30 or more hours worked per week for 12 months. One year of higher education is defined as 30 credit hours completed at an accredited college or university.
