We are currently hiring for weekday mornings, Monday - Friday 8:45am - 12pm and evenings 4:30-7:30, with weekend hours also available. The Child Watch Room allows parents to use the branch facilities while their children engage in safe and fun activities under supervision.

Essential Functions

• Supervise and participate in children's activities
• Practice safety and health policies; guide children in routines and development
• Complete documentation, practice infection control, and establish a child-friendly environment
• Follow emergency procedures and maintain certifications in CPR and First Aid
• Attend staff meetings and report suspected abuse
• Prepare materials, follow policies, and maintain confidentiality
• Perform janitorial duties and other assigned tasks

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• At least 6 months experience with children
• Obtain or hold current CPR, AED, First Aid, and mandated reporter training

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Must be in good health; physically capable of climbing, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 30 pounds
