Levels include I with a bachelor’s or equivalent combination of education and experience, and II with higher education or professional experience in related fields. Education options include paralegal or ABA-approved programs.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience for Specialist I.
• Bachelor’s degree plus one year of professional experience for Specialist II, or higher degrees as listed.
• Paralegal education or ABA-approved program accepted for specialist progression.

Responsabilidades

• Review, analyze, and evaluate child support cases for appropriate actions.
• Prepare records of payment, pleadings, and correspondence.
• Update computer records and perform locate activities.
• Negotiate settlements and agreed orders.
• Mediate between parties to resolve child support issues.
• Monitor and manage case log.
• Communicate effectively by phone and in person.

Educación

Bachelor’s degree

Associate’s degree in Legal Assistance

Associate’s degree in Public Service – Legal Case Management

American Bar Association approved paralegal education program

Master’s degree

Juris Doctorate

Equivalent combination of education and experience in child support enforcement
