Job summary

Forsyth County Department of Social Services is seeking a Child Support Supervisor for the Child Support Services Division. The role centers on planning, organizing, directing and evaluating the program while supervising agents and coordinating with legal and judicial professionals.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED with four years of related experience, preferably with supervisory duties. A driver’s license is required to travel to the courthouse, and prior child support

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with 4 years of relevant experience; supervisory experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license required to travel to the courthouse.
Experience in child support enforcement or related work preferred.

Responsibilities

Audit tasks performed by agents for productivity, quality and timeliness.
Provide orientation and training to new agents and staff.
Evaluate agent performance and approve leave; monitor quality and workload.
Provide information to organizations requesting child support services.
Assist division director with interviewing, planning, directing and budgeting for the unit.
Cover caseloads for vacant positions.
Supervise agents responsible for locating absent parents and enforcing orders.
Maintain a valid driver’s license and comply with DOT standards if required.
