Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS) / Division of Child Support Services (DCSS) seeks a Child Support Services Agent Supervisor in Atlanta, GA. The role reports to the Manager, Child Support Services and oversees casework operations to ensure compliance with state and federal laws.

Ideal candidates have five years of relevant experience, including supervisory duties, and strong HR leadership capabilities. This position offers comprehensive benefits and telework options dependent on duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED and five years of direct job-related experience, including two years in a lead worker, team leader, or supervisory role.
• Two years of experience at the lower-level Child Support Services Agent 3 (SST062) or equivalent.
• One year of experience at the lower-level Child Support Services Agent 4 (SST063) or position equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage casework functions within the Child Support Services office or unit.
• Interprets and apply state, federal and agency laws, rules, policies and procedures and assists staff with sensitive and complex cases.
• Provides human resources management direction to assigned staff.
• Performs administrative assignments as required for the efficient operation of unit.
• Coordinates and participates in local and statewide projects, as requested.
• Performs other professional responsibilities as assigned by manager, director or leadership team.
