Job summary

The successful candidate will manage multiple tasks, communicate effectively with participants, and contribute to a team environment within the Child Support Division. Strong computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have any combination of training and work experience indicating the skills necessary for this job.
• Child support program experience preferred but not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, TEAMS, SharePoint).
• Exceptional customer service skills and ability to respond to customer frustrations.
• Ability to work concurrently on multiple tasks/projects.
• Willingness to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct enforcement activity and investigations on IV-D cases.
• Includes investigations, location efforts, referrals to the Prosecutor, and other enforcement processes.
• Review caseload and identify cases needing action.
• Contact obligors regarding support obligations.
• Communicate with case participants, courts, employers, and enforcement contacts.
• Represent CSEA at routine court hearings and testify in proceedings.
• Audit cases for court records and testify as to agency records.
• Audit financial documents, manage withholdings, and ensure prompt and correct payments.
• Complete related summaries, reports, and documents.
