Job summary

The Family Support Division of the State of Missouri is seeking a Benefit Program Technician to be located in the St. Louis County Child Support Office, St. Louis, MO.

You will assess child support needs during calls, in-person visits, and online inquiries, guiding clients through services such as verifying paternity and establishing or enforcing orders. A six-month training program is provided, with a structured schedule and training as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or bachelor’s degree required.
• 4+ years of customer services experience.
• Able to work with several different computer programs simultaneously.
• Personable, compassionate, non-judgmental, and supportive.

Responsibilities

• Assess child support needs during phone calls, in-person visits or online inquiries.
• Assist and guide through services like verifying paternity, establishing and enforcing/modifying orders.
• Provide clear information and support to Missouri citizens.
