Job summary

Qualifications

• Six years of experience in child welfare.
• Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus three years of experience in child welfare.
• A bachelors degree plus three years of experience in child welfare.
• An advanced degree in a social science or behavioral health field, nursing, or a juris doctorate plus two years of experience in child welfare.
• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A current drivers license and access to a personal vehicle.
• The incumbent must not have been convicted or pled nolo contendere to a crime listed in R.S. 15.587.1 (c).

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of staff assigned to the Louisiana CSRC to assure compliance with agency policy, quality control, and effectiveness of processes.
• Determine work assignments and assure adequate staff coverage for assigned shifts and monitor call agents productivity and activity.
• Guides employees in the review, assessment, and decisions of intake reports.
• Reviews data, intake reports, and recorded intake calls to assess for training needs and implement corrective action when and if needed.
• Notification of Intake report to local parish offices with investigation or assessment responsibility.
• Performs other duties as assigned for the smooth operation of the Department.
